About Us

Matt began his path in Land Surveying at Des Moines Area Community College, graduating with an associate degree in Land Surveying.  After graduation Matt enrolled at St. Cloud State University and completed a bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying / Mapping Science graduating in 2012.

Matt has been licensed as a Professional Land Surveyor in Nebraska since 2015 and Iowa since 2016.

Matt worked at a large consulting firm for 11 years, holding multiple positions from production through management.  Being exposed to boundary surveying sparked an interest in the complex nature of property boundaries and the attached property rights.  It is a mix of history, law, data collection and analysis to end up at the determination of where a boundary is on the ground. 

 

Located outside of Woodbine, Iowa Matt lives with his wife, Ann, and their three sons.
